  Unit 8 How are you?  

Story time

Step 1 Greeting

T:  Hello, boys and girls. Nice to see you again. Do you like English songs?  Let's enjoy a song and tell me what you can hear in the song. What can you hear in the song? )中文句子呈现出来

播放歌曲

S: How are you? I’m fine, thank you.

Step2 Presentation

1 Present the title   Unit 8 How are you?(呈现课题)

T: And when we meet our friends, we usually ask...(引导学生回答)

S: How are you? (带读)

T: If you are good, you can say....(引导学生回答)

S: I'm fine. Thank you.(带读)

T: But if you are not fine, you can say “Not so good” 教师做动作引导学生理解这句话并带读。

T: So look at this picture. He's not so good. We can ask ....(引导学生回答)

S: What's the matter?

T: Yesthe boy says“I have a fever”.(用气泡框呈现句子)

2 Learn Part 1

(1)  Look and say

T: Look at this picture, who is she?

S: ...

T: How is she?

S: She is ill. (引导学生回答出 stay in bed)

T: Look at her head, What’s the matter with her?

S: She has a fever.

(2)  Watch the cartoon and answer

T: Can she go to school today?

S:...

T:  She can't come to school today. So what will she do then? Let’s watch the cartoon and choose the right answer

3 Learn Part 2

(1)  Look and answer

T:  Yang Ling can't come to school today.  Later, Miss Li makes a telephone call to Yang Ling.

T: How to make this telephone callCan you guess what they say first.

S: HelloThis is Miss Li speaking. May I speak to Yang Ling?

Hello, Miss Li, this is Yang Ling.

(2)  Read and answer

T: In this telephone call, Miss wants to know if Yang Ling can come to school tomorrow.

呈现日历 T: Look at this picture. Today is the twentieth of May. So tomorrow is the twenty-first  of May. Do you know this word “ tomorrow”?   Teach “tomorrow”
